Guide to ResponSEAble Consumption
90% of the planet’s fish stocks are overexploited. Check our Guide to “ResponSEAble Consumption”made by Kurma NGO and supported by Blue Marine Foundation together with Sicily Environment Fund, to learn more about sustainable seafood in Italy. Choosing seasonal fish caught locally, with low impact fishing gear, respecting minimum catch sizes and regulations, and avoiding the purchase of vulnerable or endangered species, can serve as a sustainability model that involves the entire fish supply chain. The infographics will be displayed on Caronte&Tourist ships and ticket offices.
