A Webinar Introducing The Sicily Environment Fund

The Sicily Environment Fund (SEF) was founded in 2022 by the Conservation Collective and a group of individuals with a strong connection to the island of Sicily.

As part of the Conservation Collective’s (CC) global network of local foundations, SEF uses CC’s proven environmental grant-giving model to activate a network of interested donors to support local grassroots environmental conservation initiatives in a nimble and highly effective manner.

SEF hosted its introductory webinar on 27th June 2022 highlighting the aim, objectives and areas of interest of the SEF within the region’s environmental and social context as presented in the scoping study that set the basis to the creation of the foundation. Furthermore, the webinar introduced the mission and philosophy of the Conservation Collective by the founder, Ben Goldsmith, and Jade Brudenell, the Executive director.
