We are thrilled to announce that Sicily Environment Fund (SEF) is now accepting applications for grants to fund organizations and initiatives committed in making Sicily more sustainable, green and inclusive, yielding positive change for people and the environment!
Call for Applications
We are seeking partners working on environmental and conservation projects with a creative and impactful approach. Whether you have a groundbreaking idea, an ongoing project, or are requesting continued funding, we want to hear from you!
We support projects within the following areas of interest:
We encourage innovative initiatives that align with our mission and values. All our projects must include some aspects of community involvement, capacity building and/or empowerment in the form of either education, alternative livelihood support, advocacy, institutional engagement, creation or continued community-based initiatives.
How to Apply
Visit our website to access the grant application form. Be sure to download the ‘Step-by-step guidance on how to fill the application form’ and the ‘Impact measurement framework’ in order to respond to the questions we ask and select your environmental, social and policy outcomes and indicators.
Before you complete the online application, we encourage you to contact both Gaia, our Executive Director (gaia@sicilyenvironment.org) and Ambra, our communications manager (ambra@sicilyenvironment.org) via email, sharing a short concept note in italian or english (max 500 words) with the budget requested to express your interest in funding. We will come back to you for early feedback and to share our funding priorities with you.
Application Deadline: 12pm on 31st October 2024
Submit your grant applications via the online form on our website before the deadline to be considered for this exciting collaboration. The funding supports projects ready to start in the first quarter or half of 2025.
